Mission

DPC/RSU-East conducts the planning and coordination necessary to provide training, administrative, and logistic support to Marine Corps reserve units, Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) Marines and other Department of Defense (DOD) reserve units and personnel training aboard Marine Corps Installations East bases and stations.  Additionally, per the MAID-P, at the direction of DC M&RA, the DPC/RSU becomes the focal point for providing deployment processing to Individual Augments (IA), IRR, DOD employees, and contracted personnel in preparing for potential deployment with Reserve Component (RC) or Active Component (AC) units.  The DPC/RSU accomplishes this mission by providing the administrative, operational, and logistic support necessary to ensure successful completion of training objectives in support of the Combatant Commander’s intent.
