Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF)

Located at Fort Hood, Texas, the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) is the U.S. Army's strategic and central testing facility responsible for interoperability engineering, executing Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) testing, maintaining configuration control for all operational through tactical-level information technology/national security systems, and supporting the digital needs of deployed warfighters. The CTSF is the Army's only facility to test theater-level system of systems products in a net-centric environment, and its personnel provide unparalleled, uncompromised, consistent and responsible support to the warfighter. The CTSF's vision is to become a customer-valued organization ensuring that the best net-centric C4I capabilities are available to U.S. Army, joint and coalition warfighters. top


Logistics and Readiness Center (LRC)

The Logistics and Readiness Center (LRC) is headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland with activities located at Fort Belvoir, Fort Hood, Fort Huachuca, and Logistics Assistance Representatives stationed in eight countries. The LRC mission is to provide global C4ISR logistics support to the warfighter and coalition forces, in a timely, cost-effective manner. The LRC prepares, sustains and resets the nation's Armed Forces before, during and after combat operations and deployments. This mission is accomplished through rapid acquisition, maintenance, production, fielding, new equipment training, operation and sustainment of CECOM equipment. The LRC provides the Army with the communications and electronic systems that enable tanks, planes, helicopters, ships, satellites, and missiles to talk to each other and dominate the battlefield. top


Software Engineering Center (SEC)

The Software Engineering Center (SEC) is one of the most experienced and comprehensive software support centers within the Department of Defense. Headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, with offices and field sites around the globe, SEC provides much of the software expertise needed to support command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, as well as logistics, business and enterprise systems in the modern digital environment. With a mission to provide life-cycle software solutions that enable warfighting superiority and information dominance across the enterprise, SEC supports the Warfighter from the business office to the battlefield. top

Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD)

Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) is the largest, full-service electronics maintenance facility in the Department of Defense (DoD). TYAD's mission is total sustainment, including design, manufacture, repair and overhaul of hundreds of electronic systems that include satellite terminals, radio and radar systems, telephones, electro-optics, night-vision and anti-intrusion devices, airborne surveillance equipment, navigational instruments, electronic warfare and guidance and control systems for tactical missiles. TYAD is the DoD's recognized leader in the areas of automated test equipment, systems integration and downsizing of electronics systems. The Army has designated Tobyhanna as its Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for C4ISR and Electronics, Avionics and Missile Guidance and Control. The Air Force has designated TYAD as its Technical Source of Repair for command, control, communications and intelligence systems. TYAD contributes significantly to the RESET mission for the nation's Army. top

U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC)

The U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) provides systems engineering, installation, integration implementation and evaluation support for communications and information technology systems worldwide enabling capabilities for Army organizations, Combatant Commanders, Department of Defense agencies and Federal agencies in support of the warfighter. The USAISEC mission includes the design, engineering, integration, development, sustainment, installation, testing, and acceptance of information systems. The USAISEC provides matrix support to the Program Executive Officer and Program Manager structure for systems engineering and integration of assigned information systems. Located at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, the USAISEC is comprised of eight elements to include the: Enterprise Systems Engineering Directorate; Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate; Fort Lee Engineering Directorate; Information Assurance and Security Engineering Directorate; Mission Support Directorate; National Capital Region Engineering Directorate; Technical Support Group; Technology Integration Center; and the Transmission Systems Directorate. top
