Combating Autism Initiative

The MCH Research Program is part of HRSA's Combating Autism effort. This has included funding for:

  • Three R40 competitions devoted to autism research held in 2009, 2010 and 2011. These competitions have resulted in the funding of:
    • Seventeen R40 Multiyear grants
    • Eight R40 SDAS grants
  • Three Autism Intervention Research Networks:
    • Autism Intervention Research Network on Physical Health (AIR-P)
    • Autism Intervention Research Network on Behavioral Health (AIR-B)
    • Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Research Network (DBPNet)
