Enju Lima

Assistant Physicist – X-ray Optics, NSLS-II Experimental Facilities

Dr. Enju Lima joins us from European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in Grenoble, France. As a postdoctoral research associate at ESRF, her research involved biological imaging using soft and hard x-ray diffraction microscopy

She holds a PhD in Physics from SUNY Stonybrook and was awarded Brookhaven’s Gertrude Scharff-Goldhaber Prize in 2006.

Working closely with Dr. Hanfei Yan, Enju will perform experiments and data analysis associated with achieving 1-nm spatial resolution in novel x-ray optics for NSLS-II. In addition, she will interact closely with the x-ray nanoprobe beamline staff by supporting the experimental group in the implementation of novel x-ray optics.
