Earth Day Celebrations

American Corner at Bangalore celebrated Earth Day on at Bhavan’s Bangalore Press School Campus. (State Dept.)

On April 10, 2012 American Corner at Bangalore celebrated Earth Day on at Bhavan’s Bangalore Press School Campus.  More than 100 Children from Grades 5 and 6 participated. Corner coordinated a drawing and quiz competitions relating to environment and the students also cleaned the waste around the school. Competition winners received an appreciation certificate.

On April 25, 2012, 60 College students in Bangalore participated in Tree Planting, 2012 as part of the Earth Day Celebrations organized the American Corner, Bangalore.
