931ST FAMILY AND SPOUSE SUPPORT PROGRAMS
KEY SPOUSES PROGRAM: The Key Spouses Program is a formal unit program that offers informal, peer-to-peer/Wingman family support. There are a number of imperatives for a revised emphasis on this program.: Impact of the war's operational tempo, force reduction, and the Community Information Board feedback show signs of spouse stress with increases in domestic situations. Unit participation this program is voluntary, however, Air Force leadership highly encourages involvement on all levels to strengthen family resiliency, particularly during deployments.
YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAM: The National Guard and Reserves Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program is a legislatively mandated program designed to provide information, services, referrals, and proactive outreach programs to service members and families of the National Guard and Reserves through all phases of the deployment cycle.
