February 1:  Film showing Lincoln with discussion to provide insight into the highlights of the political career of the 16th U.S. President at Eden Cinemas, St. Julians.

February 2:  Piano Recital by Wayne Marshall highlighting African-American composers and their achievements at the CMR.

February 4 & 8:  Broadcast of interview on Black History Month with Ambassador Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley on Campus FM. 

February 11:  Maltese youths’ participation in webchat with Ambassador Luis CdeBaca, J/TIP Director on the legacy of the abolitionist movement on modern-day slavery and human trafficking. 

February 13:  Film showing of Guess who’s coming to dinner with discussion led by Staff Sgt Marc Chaplin in the Embassy to follow.

February 19:  Black American Poets – student teachers from the Faculty of Education, University of Malta will explore innovative ways to teach poetry.

February 22:  Flash mob/dance event with performances by Nova Dance Studio and young migrants from the Marsa Open Center at The Point.

February 26:  Film showing of Do the Right Thing with discussion led by Ambassador Abercrombie-Winstanley. 

February 28:  Op-ed by Ambassador Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley.
