Giving Blood to Commemorate the Anniversary of 9/11

On September 10, Ambassador Eleni Tsakopoulos Kounalakis and more than a dozen other U.S. Embassy employees participated in a blood drive organized by the Hungarian Red Cross in Budapest. 

As the 9/11 anniversary has been proclaimed to be a National Day of Service and Remembrance, Embassy staff, both American and Hungarian, in this spirit gave back to the local community in Hungary.
