After his tour with 2ND Recon Bn, he transferred to Ft. Sam Houston to attend the Special Forces Medical Sergeants Course/300-F-1, the Army’s 18-D course.  After spending the first 6 months in Texas he continued on to Ft. In March 1994, Master Chief Sine then transferred to 1st Force Reconnaissance Company, I MEF, Camp Pendleton, where he was assigned as Platoon Corpsman and Senior Medical Department Representative. During his tour, he deployed multiple times where his Force Recon platoon completed contingency taskings.  Upon returning from one of the many deployments, he was then hand selected to instruct along with the Army’s Special Forces Operators at the “Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC)” in Ft. Bragg, NC.  While training the Special Operations SEAL and Recon Corpsman, Army SF and Ranger Medics and Air Force Para-Rescue men he was assigned the LPO of the Advanced Medical, Orthopedics, and Battlefield Trauma sections.

In March 2003, Senior Chief Sine was hand selected as one of 82 personnel, to start the Marine Corps Special Operations Detachment (MCSOCOM Det-1), the first USMC contribution of forces to Special Operations Command.  As the Leading Chief Petty Officer he was in charge of standing up and deploying Special Operations Marines in support of OIF in less than one year.   Due to his reconnaissance experience, medical knowledge and being the Navy’s Senior Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman he was invited to sit as an advisor to the SOCOM Surgeon on the Joint Medical Enlisted Advisory Committee.  He was also selected to sit on the SOCOM Requirements Board (RB) for the SOCOM Paramedic initiative, Advanced Tactical Practitioner (ATP).

Master Chief Sine was assigned as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Naval Special Operations Medical Institute at the JSOMTC, Ft. Bragg.  He sits on the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Committee where he is a voting member.  The TCCC Committee is a subcommittee of the Defense Health Board, a Federal Advisory Committee to the Secretary of Defense providing independent scientific advice/recommendations on matters relating to operational programs, health policy development, health research programs, and requirements for the treatment and prevention of disease and injury, promotion of health and the delivery of health care to DoD beneficiaries.
