- The State Library's California Research Bureau has released a series of short subjects on risk factors impacting healthy aging among California's African Americans, Asian Pacific Islanders, Latinos, and Whites ages 50 and over.
- California Research Bureau announces the release of a new short brief, HIV/AIDS in California, 2012 Update. This brief finds that 1 in 268 Californians is currently infected with HIV.
