Reasons to Partner with Job Corps

For Your Information...

9. Job Corps students are motivated and ready to work for you.

Classroom training is only part of the Job Corps experience. Our students train at real work sites through our work-based learning program, internships and other job-shadowing opportunities. We teach them the value of a strong work ethic. They are eager to succeed.

8. Job Corps students receive services after graduation to allow them to focus on their careers.

The Job Corps program stays in contact with students up to 18 months after they graduate to make sure they have everything they need to succeed. We make sure they have access to services - transportation, housing, child care, etc. - if they need them. We do this so they can focus on their careers.

7. Job Corps is a constant source of new employees.

Because Job Corps is an open-entry/open-exit program and students are responsible for creating their own training timeline, the program graduates employee candidates throughout the year, providing your company with the employees you need when you need them.

6. Job Corps saves your company training costs.

Because our students receive hands-on training, tailored to your specific needs, our students are ready to work for you when they graduate, saving you thousands on training and acclimation time once on the job.

5. Job Corps students learn more than a career area.

They learn employability skills, such as the importance of teamwork, promptness, accountability, dependability, follow-through and communication. These things are important to us, and they make a difference for you.
