Locate Stations and Display Station Information

This locates NCDC and NRCS SNOTEL stations from the NHDS archive and displays information about the stations. NCDC has changed their station history information. Click here to view the changes.

NCDC TD-3240 cooperative hourly precipitation
NCDC TD-3200 cooperative summary of the day
NRCS daily SNOTEL observations (high elevation data)
Mix daily NCDC and NRCS data

Select element(s) for daily data

PTPX / PRCP - precipitation
EPAN / EVAP - pan evaporation
SNOF / SNOW - snowfall
SNOG / SNWD - point snow depth
SNWE / WTEQ - point snow cover water-equivalent
TAMX / TMAX - maximum air temp
TAMN / TMIN - minimum air temp
TAXN - use and to find the two preceeding elements
TPMX / MXPN - maximum pan water temp
TPMN / MNPN - minimum pan water temp
TPXN - use and to find the two preceeding elements
UDIS / WDMV - point wind travel
Select time boundaries
Search from month/year through
for data covering at least year(s)
Select area:

Either specify an inclusive lat-lon box in decimal degrees
      North latitude
    West and East longitude
      South latitude

Or suppress the box option by specifying state
