SGT Thomas Christensen was born in Ocean Beach, Ca but was raised in Laurel Hill, Fl, a small town with nothing but a K-12 school and a gas station.  He joined the Army as an 89B Ammunition Specialist and got assigned to the 3d Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC) at Ft Knox, Ky.  During his 4 years at Ft Knox, he deployed to Iraq from 2008-2009 and volunteered to go to Haiti when his unit stood up to deploy in support of JTF Haiti Operation Unified Response. 

He reenlisted to become a 46R Radio Broadcast Journalist because he was interested in video editing, which is something he did in his free time.  He loves being able to experience Germany and it's culture. He enjoys snowboarding, golfing, cooking and video games.
