About DCoE

Mission:
The mission of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) is to improve the lives of our nation’s service members, families and veterans by advancing excellence in psychological health and traumatic brain injury prevention and care.

Vision:
DCoE strives to be the trusted source and advocate for psychological health and traumatic brain injury knowledge and standards for the Department of Defense, and profoundly improve the system of care.

Strategic Objectives:
DCoE has established strategic objectives, illustrated in our pdf icon 2012-2105 Strategy Map, which address the most important things we need to do well to be successful as a center of excellence and to achieve our mission, vision and value proposition.

Centers:
DCoE is comprised of three centers: Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center, Deployment Health Clinical Center and National Center for Telehealth and Technology. Check out the Centers section of the website to learn more about each center.
