The purpose of this task order is to establish the West African Global Competitiveness Hub in Accra, Ghana. The Hub is intended to reinforce regional efforts to enhance West Africa’s trade competitiveness, thereby permitting the region to take greater advantage of the increased trading opportunities provided through the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) and other global trade initiatives.

The Objective of the SCOPE activity is to strengthen the ability of selected industries to organize and function as competitive clusters to overcome barriers for their industry in order to better compete in both regional and world markets.
