Ongoing Programs

  • Business Environments for Agile Markets (BEAM) offers USAID missions and their local partners a broad range of services in economic growth programming, such as needs assessments, training, monitoring and evalution, identifying public-private partnerships and rapid-response support.

  • Launched in October 2010, the Enabling Agricultural Trade (EAT) program supports U.S. Government agencies tackling the challenges of agricultural development and food security. Building on existing analytical methodologies including AgCLIR and MicroCLIR, the EAT program is designed to identify and alleviate legal, regulatory and institutional constraints to agricultural growth in countries and sub-regions where the USG operates. The EAT program allows missions to access services including technical analysis, program strategy and design, implementation assistance and capacity building support. The EAT program also provides leadership in the development community on the legal, regulatory and institutional issues most impacting and businesses in the agricultural sector.

  • The USAID Bureau for Economic Growth, Agriculture, and Trade (EGAT) created FS Share to collaborate with USAID missions to develop effective and efficient financial sector programs that increase access to financial services and develop well-functioning markets worldwide. USAID awarded Chemonics International Inc. the FS Share delivery order under the Financial Sector Blanket Purchase Agreement. FS Share has a three-year period of performance from July 2008 through July 2011.

  • TCBoost is a rapid response mechanism that addresses a wide variety of needs in developing countries. Sponsored by USAID’s Bureau of Economic Growth, Agriculture & Trade (EGAT), TCBoost gives USAID/Washington, USAID missions, and trade hubs access to expert assistance in determining the needs of developing-country partners and stakeholders and in designing and implementing projects that meet those needs.
