US, Dutch Work to End Female Genital Mutilation
February 6 marked the tenth observance of the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation, an internationally recognized day to foster awareness of the devastating effects of FGM/C and renew the call for the abandonment of this harmful traditional practice.

Chargé d ‘Affairs Edwin Nolan led a U.S. delegation on an official visit to Curaçao. Joining him was Defense Attaché CAPT Dan Braswell. The trip served to strengthen the bilateral relationship and to highlight U.S. interests in the region.

Piano Recital Highlights American Music, Youth and Talent
January 31 – Korean-American classical pianist Sun-A Park gave a recital at the Chief of Mission residence for a large group of Embassy friends and partners. The music performed included U.S. composer John Corigliano’s Etude-Fantasy.
