Chicago-based pianist Mark Damisch, on a multi-country tour within the East Asian region, stopped in Seoul, Korea, to perform American classical music for a number of local audiences including young students of Angel’s Haven, a school for the mentally challenged; students and teachers of Hanbit School for the Blind; and members of the Korea United College Orchestra. Mr. Damisch, an attorney and a three-time former mayor of Northbrook, Illinois, was accompanied in many of his performances by his two daughters Katherine and Alexandra.

Eighty one individuals from 30 different countries, including 57 active duty military, 22 military spouses, and two military dependent children, take the oath of allegiance on being sworn in as newly naturalized U.S. citizens at Yongsan Garrison.
