What is an American Center Korea Youth Coordinator?
ACK Youth Coordinators (YCs) are a group of young volunteers at the American Center Korea of the U.S. Embassy in Seoul.  The American Center Korea began this volunteer program in July 2006 to engage with university students, and to provide opportunities for YCs to explore U.S. society, history, and culture through participating in diverse public diplomacy programs.  After successfully completing one year of volunteer work, YC members will receive official certificates from the U.S. Embassy.
The size of the YC group is between 15-30 members each year, and YCs themselves work in tandem with the U.S. Embassy’s American Center Korea under three divisions: Planning Team, Promotion Team, and Blog Team.

아메리칸센터 유스코디네이터(YC)는 주한미국대사관 공보과 아메리칸센터가 주관하는 청년 자원봉사그룹입니다. 2006년 7월 아메리칸센터에서 시작된 이 자원봉사 프로그램은 한국 대학생들을 대상으로 하며 미대사관이 진행하는다양한 공공 외교 프로그램에 참여하는 기회를 통해 미국사회, 역사 및 문화에 대한 이해를 돕고 있습니다. 일년간의봉사활동을 성공적으로 마치는 YC께는 주한미국대사관이 공식 감사장을 수여하고 있습니다.
매 기수별 YC그룹은 15명에서 30 여명의 학생들로 이루어지며 기획팀, 홍보팀, 블로그팀으로 구성되어 주한미국대사관 아메리칸센터와 함께 프로그램의 기획과 진행을 도우고 있습니다.
