Renunciation of Citizenship
The Department of State is responsible for determining the citizenship status of a person located outside the United States or in connection with the application for a U.S. passport while in the United States. The fee for processing a renunciation of citizenship is US$ 450.00/Dkr 2,925.00. We accept cash, credit card or Danish kroner checks. Checks should be made out to “U.S. Embassy”.
