The Speech-Language Pathology Clinic is staffed by licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologists. Diagnostic, treatment and resource intervention for individuals of all ages with a wide range of swallowing disorders and communication deficits is available. Both inpatient and outpatient care is provided. Services include the following: instrumental assessment of swallowing with Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing and Sensory Testing (FEESST) and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS); voice evaluation and treatment in conjunction with the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery program, individual evaluation and therapy for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing treatment and management. Referrals are accepted from physicians, staff, family members and teachers. Appointments can be made by calling the clinic. This service is currently limited to Active duty service-members.
