The Office of Management (IG/M) provides the Office of Inspector General and its worldwide staff with advice, policy and guidance, and customer support in the following disciplines:

  • Budget Development and Execution– oversees the budget formulation and execution and financial obligations for the organization
  • Human Capital– oversees personnel staffing matters, employee benefits, security, and related functions within the organization
  • Procurement and Contracts– handles all acquisitions and contracting for OIG staff
  • Information Technology– manages network operations, corporate applications, information security, and desktop support
  • Operations Support– manages OIG facilities management to include office space, furniture, lighting, continuity of operations
  • Policy, Planning, and Special Projects– maintains and oversees the revision of all OIG policies and standard operating procedures, coordinates implementation of the OIG strategic plan and human capital strategic plan, facilitates the managerial planning process and composes the annual plan, prepares Semiannual Reports to Congress, and addresses various Office of Management and Budget and congressional reporting requirements

The above services enable OIG staff to function and promote economic, effective and efficient delivery of foreign, economic, and humanitarian assistance worldwide.
