Tox21 Assay Nomination Form

Tox21 is the collaboration between the National Center for Computational Toxicology of the U.S. EPA, the National Toxicology Program of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, the NIH Chemical Genomics Center of the NIH National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The participating agencies work together to develop, validate, and translate innovative high throughput screening (HTS) methods to characterize the impact of chemicals on key steps in toxicity pathways. This nomination form provides the public an opportunity for input into the selection of HTS assays in Tox21.

Proposed assays should be compatible with the guidelines for HTS assays as described on the NCATS website Exiting the ICCVAM website.

Please use the form below to nominate high throughput screening toxicity assays to NICEATM to evaluate for potential use in the Tox21 testing program. Please complete all fields, as this will enable the best evaluation of the nominated method. Members of the collaboration will evaluate submissions on an ongoing basis. Please provide contact information as submitters may be contacted for additional information. Please note that the submitter will not necessarily receive feedback on submissions unless selected for screening.

If you have additional questions about nominating an assay to Tox21, please contact Dr. Warren Casey at NICEATM.
