Mission

The mission of the Headquarters, Headquarters Company is to provide support to OTC's personnel and families located at Fort Hood in order to ensure success in all endeavors.
 

Arrival

Upon arrival at Fort Hood, report directly to HHC in Building 91012, room 124. Do not report to the central processing at the Rivers Building on Fort Hood.  If you arrive after duty hours and would like to sign in off leave, contact the Staff Duty at 254.287.9460. If you receive an answering machine message, leave a short message with the date and time of your call, your name, and the last 4 digits of your social security number. Then follow up by reporting to HHC orderly room at 0900 on the following duty day.

 

Uniform

The duty uniform is ACUs.  The uniform for PT is the Improved Physical Fitness Uniform (IPFU) appropriate for the season.  All personnel are required to wear a reflective vest while running or walking on Fort Hood.

 

APFT

You must arrive physically fit and within the body fat standards of AR 600-9.  Your directorate will administer an APFT upon your arrival.  Upon completion of the APFT, all Soldiers will be weighed and measured for body fat percentage (if necessary).

 

Duty Day

For OTC Soldiers, the standard duty day, Monday through Friday, begins with PT from 0630 – 0730, work call at 0900.  The standard duty day will end at 1700 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.  On Thursdays, the duty day will end at 1500 in conjunction with the III Corps Commanding General Quality of Life Program.

Barracks

Single Soldiers barracks are located in Building 91020, West Fort Hood.  The rooms are designed for each Soldier to have his/her own bedroom with a latrine and kitchenette shared between every two Soldiers.  The Dining Facility, West Fort Hood Physical Fitness Center, and West Fort Hood Chapel are located across the street from the Barracks.
