Award Qualifications
- The National Emergency Preparedness Award
(NEPA), found in CC27.1.1, dated 12 SEPTEMBER 2000, Section E.3.g., is
deleted in its entirety. Officers previously awarded the NEPA may
continue to wear the award ribbon.
- Commissioned Corps
Instruction CCI 511.02 for the Field Medical Readiness Badge was released on
26 July 2006.
- The FMRB recognizes officers who have met
criteria beyond the required force readiness standards. It is awarded on
the basis of proven knowledge and skill related to force readiness and
performance while engaged in Corps deployment(s). Eligibility criteria
for the FMRB is defined by Commissioned Corps Instruction
CCI 511.02.
- Office of Force Readiness and Deployment
(OFRD) will determine FMRB eligibility on a
quarterly basis and automatically award the FMRB to
eligible officers. Please review

revises the criteria for the Crisis Response Service Award (CRSA) and
authorizes the establishment of two new deployment service awards – the
Response Service Award and Global Response Service Award.
