MISSION
Develop, coordinate and synchronize Marine Corps policy and procedures supporting joint DOD policy/initiatives
relative to personal property and passenger traffic management policy. LPD-2 provides the interface between Marine Corps distribution management personnel and those organizations supporting them. The section is responsible for planning, developing and interpreting policy, programs and procedures governing the movement of personal property and passengers worldwide via all modes of transportation.
Execute direct interface with the entire DOD in developing more efficient methods of transporting, billing, and documenting the movement of personal property and passengers worldwide via all modes of transportation.
Integrate personal property and passenger traffic management capabilities necessary to promulgate, develop and manage processes, improvements and automated systems in support of Marines and their families.
