Tech. Sgt. Brandon St. Peter, 60th Maintenance Group Quality Assurance inspector, inspects Senior Airman Mark McGovern, 60th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, on a gear inspection of a C-5 Galaxy at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Jan. 30, 2013. McGovern checks the serviceability of the brakes, that there are two ware pin indicators per wheel and that they are serviceable and that the piston caps have safety wire. The QA team has increased the number of inspections performed on maintainers to help them feel more comfortable with the inspection process.
