Fort Devens Community Outreach Program

Mission

The Fort Devens Community Outreach Program acts as a liaison by supporting local civic groups. The Outreach Program provides individual and group volunteer opportunities and group activities so that the servicemen and servicewomen of Fort Devens can show their appreciation by donating their time to the community. We are not looking for cash contributions but we are requesting a committment of your time to this effort.

The Community Outreach Program supports the Army Community Service Programs and Fort Devens Partnerships.

Our ultimate goal is to remain active, visible and support the local community.

 

About Us

 Contributing your time to this effort is entirely voluntary and the activities are not financially compensated. Your participation should occur during your off duty hours. Unit activities are at the discretion of the Unit Commander. These activities are not limited by branch affiliation.

 Orientation, scheduling and assistance will be provided by the Community Outreach Program Coordinators. Hours volunteered will be tracked as a motivational tool.   Long term commitments are optional

There are a variety of volunteer and support opportunities available.
