Career Preparation Period (CPP)

During his/her first 60 days with Job Corps, the student:

  • Learns, demonstrates, and practices personal responsibility skills required at the workplace;
  • Learns, demonstrates, and practices job search skills including computer fluency;
  • Creates a personal career development plan (PCDP) with the help of Job Corps staff;
  • Commits to his/her PCDP; and,
  • Visits and learns about One-Stop centers.
