The Tele-Triage Nurse takes veterans calls including:
Calls about symptoms of illness or injury
X-ray prep instructions
Medication questions and requests for renewals
Reporting patients self-monitoring of blood pressure or blood sugar to PCP doctor.
Requests for lab or x-ray results

Scheduling Appointments: Scheduling clerks will assist with all appointment management needs. If a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, the veteran may either call scheduling or their respective clinic between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Rescheduling of appointments will need to take place during regular working hours, and Scheduling Clerks will contact the patient to coordinate a new appointment.
