April 18, 2012 – Today, a FAR rule requiring contractors to report the biobased products purchased under service and construction contracts was published in the Federal Register. This rule, effective May 18, 2012, will enable agencies to monitor compliance with the Federal preference for purchasing biobased products as directed in the Farm Bill and the recent Presidential Memorandum.
