U.S. Food and Beverage Independence Day Festival June 29- July 15, 2012

From June 29th to July 15th, 2012, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), in coordination with the California Prune Board, Food Export Association of the Midwest USA and Food Export USA North East, Paramount Farms, Sunkist Growers, Sunkist Growers, Southern U.S. Trade Association, Lady Liberty Brands, and Washington Apple Commission  will be promoting U.S. food and beverages in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. This initiative will the first multi-city, multi-retailer U.S. food promotional event in India, working with the Le Marche stores in the NCR, the Haiko store in Mumbai, and the SPAR stores in Bangalore. 

The participating groups will offer samples of U.S. foods and will organize live chef demos with short presentations by a trained nutritionist. During the 17-day promotional event, the stores will feature U.S. foods to increase consumer awareness and understanding of the excellent value and quality of U.S. products.

Trade Shows

USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service endorses two trade shows in India.  It would be our pleasure to invite your company to participate in the official USA Pavilion at Annapoorna in Mumbai, India, September 2012 and AAHAR in New Delhi, India, March, 2013. We believe these trade shows offer excellent opportunities to establish your company’s presence in the Indian market by introducing your products to potential food, drink and hospitality buyers attending the show.  FAS staff will provide on-site assistance.
