Major Enhancements

• Added 2010 data for all available states. Added data for New Hampshire and the District of Columbia to bring the total to 50 states in OnTheMap (NH data not available for 2002 and DC only available for 2010). Not yet included are MA, PR, and VI.
• New data source. Data sourced from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) makes Federal employment available in OnTheMap for the first time (2010 only). For more information see the document Federal Employment in LODES/OnTheMap.
• New variables. Worker Sex has been added as a variable for 2009 and 2010 data (available in the Area Profile and Area Comparison Analyses).
• Significantly increased speed of the application. OnTheMap processes have been completely reworked to provide users with faster response and reliable access.
• Additional charting and reporting capabilities in the analysis results. Users can now control and filter analysis results by clicking on characteristics of the data in the summary report.
• Base map has been updated with TIGER 2010 geographies for most layers, including accuracy improvements to points, lines, and polygons.
• Improved cartography and cleaner graphics.
