Each adult division manages investigator requests based upon the investigator's geographic location within the United States. The Pediatric Division manages all investigators who request pediatric specimens only. The CHTN divisions share coordination for requests from outside North America.
The Eastern Division, located at the University of Pennsylvania and directed by Virginia LiVolsi, M.D., Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, is responsible for all states bounded by the western and southern borders of Pennsylvania, as well as Delaware and Hawaii. http://www.chtneast.org

The Southern Division, located at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and directed by William Grizzle, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Pathology, encompasses Kentucky and all states south and west from the Carolinas to Texas.
