The DoDEA Information Center Program focuses on information literacy, the ability to find, evaluate and use information, in order to assist students to become life-long learners. The program combines effective learning and teaching strategies and activities with information access skills. The Information Center Program gives students the opportunity to encounter information in various formats The Information Specialist promotes this student-centered program by working collaboratively with teachers, administrators and others to facilitate student success.
