SOIL SURVEY REPORTS

The source for up-to-date soil survey information is the Web Soil Survey or Soil Data Mart. Although all hard copies of soil surveys are out-of-date, archive copies are available for some areas of Wyoming.

Archive Soil Survey Reports are available at no cost for those areas in Wyoming that are published. Because of limited supply, a few reports are available on a "loan basis only".

Johnson County Note:
The hard copy report of South Johnson County (WY619) is out-of-stock.
The soil survey report is available on CD however, in " msword " and " tiff " file formats.
 

Hard copy soil survey reports can be requested in the following ways:

1.  Contact the local NRCS Field Office in the county where the soil survey area is located.
