The Department of Behavioral Health at William Beaumont Army Medical Center provides a comprehensive array of services to eligible Tricare beneficiaries in El Paso, Texas and the surrounding area. Our programs and services include inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, evaluation and management of psychotropic medications, individual and group psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation and psychological testing, neuropsychological services, child and adolescent care, command evaluations, Medical Social Work Services and child and spousal abuse services. The Department of Behavioral Health has clinic locations at WBAMC, Ft Bliss Main post and East Bliss. Our current clinic services and locations include:

Doctoral Psychology Internship Training Program

We appreciate your interest in the Doctoral Psychology Internship Training Program offered at the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC). The DBH currently offers this program to counseling and clinical psychology doctoral candidates.

Community Behavioral Health Service, Fort Bliss:

  • Clinic for service members on active duty, services include individual and group psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation, management of psychotropic medication and command evaluations.
  • Located at Building 2489 on main post (Corner of Ricker and Chaffee Roads) 915-742-4781

Community Behavioral Health Service, East Fort Bliss:

  • Clinic for service members on active duty, services include individual and group psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation, management of psychotropic medication and command evaluations.
  • Located at Building 11335 on East Fort Bliss (Next to the PX Shoppette and Centennial club) 915-742-8000

Community Behavioral Health Service, Mendoza Soldier Family Care Center:

  • Clinic for service members on active duty, services include individual and group psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation, management of psychotropic medication, neuropsychological evaluations and command evaluations.
  • Located at Building 11335 on East Fort Bliss 915-742-1022 915-742-1039

Community Behavioral Health Service, 4th Floor Bradley Building:

  • Clinic for service members on active duty, services include individual psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation, management of psychotropic medication and command evaluations.
  • Located on the fourth floor of the Bradley Building, WBAMC 915-742-5119

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Services, Ft. Bliss:

  • Clinic for children and adolescents of eligible active duty service members, ages 4 to 18. Clinic provides diagnostic evaluations, psychotropic medication management and individual therapy.
  • Located on Fort Bliss, Building 2497 (next to the corner of Ricker and Carrington Roads, across from Army Community Services) 915-742-5138

Inpatient Psychiatry Services, WBAMC 11W:

  • Clinic provides acute adult psychiatric inpatient treatment of the full range of psychiatric disorders for all eligible active duty service members, dependents and retirees.

Family Advocacy Program, Fort Bliss:

  • The Family Advocacy Program emphasizes prevention, education, prompt reporting, investigation, intervention and treatment of spouse and child abuse. In addition, a variety of services is provided to Soldiers and families to develop their relationship skills, parenting skills, and improve their quality of life. This mission is accomplished through a variety of groups, counseling and intervention services.

Restoration and Resiliency program, Ft. Bliss:

  • The Fort Bliss Restoration and Resilience Center restores optimal functioning and battle-readiness to physiologically, psychologically and spiritually challenged post-deployment Soldiers and their families using integrated state-of-the-art treatment modalities to stimulate maximum resilience.

  • Offices of the Chief, Deputy Chief, NCOIC and department support personnel.
  • Located at WBAMC, 11th floor, East Side

Combat Operational Stress Control (COSC) Team:

  • The Combat and Operational Stress Control Program of Fort Bliss is available for all individual Soldiers, Family Members and unit leadership at all levels to assist with prevention, treatment, and referral resources for all behavioral health needs.

Automated Behavioral Health:

  • The Combat and Operational Stress Control Program of Ft Bliss is available for all individual Soldiers, Family Members and unit leadership at all levels to assist with prevention, treatment, and referral resources for all behavioral health needs.
