Hours of Operation
The Laboratory provides services to Kirk US Army Health Clinic Monday through Friday from 0730-1630 hours.
The Edgewood Clinic laboratory provides services from 0600-1530 hours

Clinical Testing Services

Clinical Testing Services include most routine and limited special testing in the areas of:

  • Chemistry- Lipid Panel, Fasting Glucose, Basic and Complete Metabolic Panels, Hepatic Panel, Amylase, Uric Acid, Magnesium, and A1C.
  • Urinalysis
  • Hematology – Complete Blood Count, Sickle cell Screen and ESRs.
  • Serology- RPR
  • Waive Testing- Rapid Strep A, Mononucleosis, Influenza A and B, and HCG (Pregnancy Testing)

All Patients are required to present valid picture identification when arriving for specimen collection.

  • Within KUSAHC, laboratory orders are placed in the hospital information system by the clinic/location the patient was seen.
  • Civilian laboratory requests will be performed for eligible beneficiaries based on hospital capabilities.
  • Laboratory requests from providers outside of KUSAHC should be written on a prescription from the provider and presented at the laboratory reception area.  Proper ID is required when arriving for testing.
  • You do not have to make an appointment for routine blood collection. The only exception is a 3 hour Glucose Tolerance Test.   Please contact the laboratory at 410-278-1714 for appointments and details about specific test procedures and specimen collection requirements.
