NWO-2007-2518-BIS - 1/23/2013: Devils Lake Municipal Airport Authority submitted an application for an airport improvement project that includes removal of wetlands for airport safety purposes. In addition to runway and taxiway extensions, the Airport Authority proposes to drain or fill 22.1 acres of jurisdictional and 3.5 acres of non-jurisdictional wetlands. Impacts are proposed to be offset by securing the final 26 acres of restored wetland credits from the Hurricane Wetland Restoration Bank located at the Nikoliasen Waterfowl Production Area.

NWO-2007-2489-BIS - 1/23/2013: Great River Energy proposes to construct a railroad loop through its Spiritwood Energy Park. Construction would result in fill being placed in two wetland basins (0.94-acre and 0.35-acre) for a total impact of 1.29-acres. A preliminary mitigation plan calling for creation of approximately 5 acres of wetlands and incorporation of 13.8 acres of uplands has been provided for consideration.

NWO-2012-1441-BIS - 1/18/2013: In 2012 Billings County Commission received authorization under a nationwide permit to stabilize 400 feet of Little Missouri River bankline located south and west of Medora, North Dakota. Additional erosion in the area is jeopardizing an adjacent road; therefore, Billings County Commission is proposing to extend the 2012 project by 350 feet.
