52 Weeks for Women’s Health App

Women's Health ScreenshotThe National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH), has created the 52 Weeks for Women’s Health application as a guide for women interested in learning more about their health anytime and anywhere.

The app, available on the Android and IOS platforms, lists 52 alphabetical health topics, one for each week of the year. The application aims to promote healthy lifestyles by offering practical strategies for women to use each day.  The app also includes other features:

Key Features:
Scrollable menu screen for convenient access to all 52 weeks of health topics
A-Z Health – Contains an alphabetical list of all 52 health topics as well as a glossary of terms
My Health Stats – Keep track of different personal health related information such as medications, medical conditions, disabilities, and allergies
My Journal – Document daily thoughts and occurrences
My Favorites – Compile an archive of your favorite health topics for quick reference
My Goals – Set and track the progress of personal goals in a number of categories such as relationships, health, for fun, financial, education, and career

Personalization and Security Features:
Skins – Personalize your space with one of the eight different themes available
Password – Protect your personal health information through use of the password option

      Good question! While it is not mobile-enabled and does not seem to have the same features as the app, you can find the information used in the app here: http://52weeks4women.nih.gov/
