“My TSA” gives you 24/7 access to information that passengers frequently request from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

“My TSA” provides real-time operating status for U.S. airports from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); a tool to find out if an item is allowed in your carry-on or checked baggage; information on ID requirements, liquids rules, and tips for packing and dressing to speed through security.
With “My TSA”, from the Transportation Security Administration, you can:

✈ Quickly search whether you can bring items with you through the checkpoint onto the airplane.

Version 1.1 included these enhancements:
+ Now you can set your preference for how the app “finds” the closest airport – find the closest large (busiest) airport (this is the default), find the closest airport of any size or set your favorite airport to display irrespective of your geographical location.
+ Nearly 3,000 items are described in the “Can I Bring?” database. Thanks to you and your fellow travelers this database has been greatly expanded from the 800 items in the v1.0 release.

CRASHES EVERY TIME!!!!
Despite all the bad reviews I gave it a try. Every single time I tried to use the app it displayed a message that there was no signal (despite the fact that my phone has full signal) and then crashed. Leave it to the government to distribute software that does not function. I hate to think how much money they spent on this.
What happened
Used to work fine. Now can't update wait times as it says no signal even with 4 bars and other apps fine. I'm sure lots of people will be missing planes today at PHL - wait time 40 minutes at 5 am.
The what can I bring info is excellent.
Doesn't work
Just downloaded the app. Says no signal. My cell phone is fully operational.
