Bridgestone developed the survey to help the company better understand the driving habits and behaviors of young drivers, with particular attention to distracted driving.
Beginning at 10 a.m. EDT, the Bridgestone release of its important findings will be streaming below. The company will also launch its its annual Teens Drive Smart Video PSA Contest. If you're safety-minded, please tune in and advise others to do the same.

I feel fortunate to have been able to listen to this. I fully believe that distracted driving is a National problem not only for teens, but for people of all ages. Operating vehicles is already a dangerous activity, and texting or talking on a phone while driving only makes it that much more dangerous. I thank Bridgestone for this presentation because it puts actual numbers and statistics to this Nation wide problem. I hope that there are more presentations and broadcasts like this in the future that will help spread information on just how dangerous distracted driving is. Thanks for the information, I will definatly be re-blogging and re-posting this presentation.
