Updated Taxiway Designations @KCAE effective 5/2/13

During first and second quarter of 2013 the Columbia Airport will continue several airfield construction projects, one of which is the AirfieldSignageProject. KCAE will also adopt the taxiway designation convention standards contained in FAA Advisory Circular 150/5340-18F - Standards for Airport Sign Systems.

The linked sketches provided below reflect both the current taxiway designators (single and double alphabetic characters in black ink), and new taxiway designators (alphabetic and alphanumeric characters in red ink) that will become effective 5/2/13. A new Taxiway Uniform project will be identified by the current taxiway designators and then changed over by 0901Z on 5/2/13. Phases that open after 5/2/13 will have the new taxiway designators already in place. Periodic progress will be shown in forthcoming updated airfield sketches posted here and on the Pilot Resources Page of the airport website.
