U.S. AMBASSADORS FUND FOR CULTURAL PRESERVATION CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the 2013 Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation Program (AFCP). 

Since 2001 the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation has supported  over  700 proposals from more than 120 countries, including ten projects from Ukraine.  The contribution represents more than $36 million towards cultural heritage preservation needs around the globe.

The AFCP supports proposals with estimated budgets of at least $10,000 or greater to preserve the following:   

• Cultural sites
• Cultural Objects and Collections
• Forms of Traditional Cultural Expression

In  FY  2012 an average award amount for the projects supported in other countries was approximately $66,000.
