Mission
The Deputy Commandant sets Logistics Policy for the Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) and Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Norway (MCPP-N) Programs and Exercises Operation and Maintenance, Marine Corps (O&MMC) budget responsibility as the prepositioning program budget sponsor. LPO-2 is designated as the program office to execute logistics resource management and program budget sponsorship for the MPF and MCPP-N prepositioning programs.
