Welcome you to VMFA-323! I will be your new Family Readiness Officer (FRO), Kimberly Hall. If you are completely new to the Family Readiness Program, my four official duties are to:
-Provide Readiness and Deployment Support
-Provide Information and Resource Referral
-Provide timely and accurate official information
-Provide Volunteer Management
As a military family, there's no reason to do it alone. There is an entire network of spouses, families, military supporters and organizations to help make the journey a bit easier. Here at VMFA-323 we want to empower the Marines, Sailors and their families to use the resources available to solve problems, pass on the "espirt de Corps" and become a self-sufficient "ready" Marine Corps family.
These goals provide the building blocks to a successful career in preparation for both deployments and life events in the Marine Corps. As spouse, parent, or extended family member of a VMFA-323 you are welcome to be included in the Family Readiness program. Please encourage your Marine or Sailor to add your contact information within the Family Readiness program so that you may receive updates from the squadron.
As your Marine is getting checked in, he will be registering for an account at
www.emarine.org. Once he registers, he will be inviting you as a user. Please make sure to click on the link that comes to your email to get registered. eMarine is our squadron website and will eventually replace most emails and newsletters that I currently send out to families, so it will be very important for you to be able to access the site, especially since this is a very fast paced unit.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at the numbers below or send me an email. I look forward to meeting you and welcome aboard!
Sincerely,
Kimberly Hall
