FMS Business Architecture Office - Enterprise Business Information Management Program
Overview
The FMS Enterprise Business Information Management Program has constructed the Treasury Financial Management Data Registry which is an authoritative reference
for information about government-wide financial data elements; specifically
those data elements commonly used across multiple agencies.
The Treasury Financial Management Data Registry is being developed to
promote the common identification, use and appropriate sharing of financial
data/information across the federal government. The registry contains
information about the definition, authoritative source, data type, format and
uses of common financial data. Responsibility for establishing and maintaining
the Treasury Financial Management Data Registry and data-related standards falls under the highly-coordinated efforts of the FMS Enterprise Business Information Management Program.
The FMS Enterprise Business Information Management Program team is also
diligently engaged with other US Government committees such as Financial
Management Line of Business (FMLoB) that are charged with
the responsibility of maintaining a consistent and uniform set of financial management data-related
standards.
