Turkey Dinner at Teestube Jona

Consul General Ned Alford and his staff hosted an American Thanksgiving/Holiday Dinner at Teestube Jona in Frankfurt.  About seventy people, many of whom are pensioners, unemployed or addicted to drugs, were personally served turkey by Mr. Alford who had already helped out in similar institutions in Washington DC.  Although most of the visitors at Teestube Jona do not have any connections to the United States, they sure have heard of Thanksgiving.  They truly enjoyed to share that very special “American experience” with the Consul General.  Media report

Teestube Jona was opened 26 years ago and is a venue for the less fortunate citizens of Frankfurt.
