February 25, 2011. Farah Pandith, the U.S. State Department's first ever Special Representative to Muslim Communities, met with over 50 members of civil society, among them leading Muslim activists, Alumni of the IVLP and Windows on America program, business people, journalists, and other contacts active in interfaith dialogue in Frankfurt on Friday, February 25th. Ms. Pandith spoke about the need for social cohesion, respect, and integration across all cultures, classes, and religions in our world today. She particularly called upon "generation change"-the youth populations in the United States and around the world- to stop hate and work together to create a better world for future generations to come.

To accomplish this goal, Ms. Pandith travels around the world seeking new opportunities to build networks between different communities. She meets with people face-to-face in order to help them realize and understand the multicultural, diverse world that we live in.
