Senator Warner met today with Savior Waddell, a rising fifth grader at Danville's Woodrow Wilson Elementary School, to celebrate the 10-year-old's winning entry in an anti-smoking poster contest.
Savior's entry was called "Hang Tough - Don't Puff."
Senator Warner and Savior"I'm a big fan of art, and my classmates were cheering me on to go on and so was my teacher," Savior told WSET-TV.
His mom says she hopes Savior continues to represent kids who are against smoking.
Danville Regional Medical Center and the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians sponsored the local competition.
